President –Alesha Rosen
Alesha serves as the Director of Testing Center Services at Frederick Community College as well as an adjunct instructor in Adult Education. She is an active member for about 8 years and would love to see this organization thrive. She is determined to create the right conditions to make things happen with the help of an enthusiastic Executive Board.
Vice President – Courtnie Krauss
Courtnie serves as the Testing Center Manager at the College of Southern Maryland.
Secretary – Shaquitta Jones-Hembrick
Shaquitta Jones-Hembrick is a dedicated member of the MCTA with a strong commitment to supporting the organization’s mission and fostering engagement within the community. She serves as a Coordinator in the Testing Center at Baltimore City Community College (BCCC), where she supports student success through assessment services and academic support initiatives. As Secretary, she looks forward to promoting clear communication, supporting board initiatives, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the association. Outside of MCTA, Shaquitta enjoys traveling with her family, sightseeing, exploring new cuisines, and embracing the joys of motherhood.
Treasurer – Kelly Fay
Kelly Fay is currently completing her 6th year as the Off Campus Testing Coordinator for Anne Arundel Community College. During this time, she has been a regular attendee and contributor to MCTA, and been active in committee service within the AACC Community. Her committee service has included leading the PSSO Employee Engagement Committee, Organizing the Student Leadership Conference, as well as serving on the Staff Compensation and Employee Grievance Policy drafting committee. In her free time Kelly founded, runs, and leads the executive board for a Nonprofit High School Girls Rugby Program. Skilled in organization, time management, and communication Kelly looks forward to seeing how she can assist MCTA if elected onto the executive board.
Technology Officer – Jeanne Gyr
Jeanne brings nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, including more than 15 years at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). Her career spans a range of roles across Student and Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management, including Admissions, the Registrar’s Office, Academic Advisement, and academic program coordination. Since July 2024, she has served as Assistant Director of Testing and Assessment at CCBC. Jeanne holds both a Bachelor of Science in English and a Master of Science in Professional Writing from Towson University. A lifelong Baltimore County resident, she enjoys spending time with her two children and new puppy, as well as watching classic episodes of The Golden Girls.
